Notes – Limitations:
- GEDCOM file lines must end with a line feed (LF) or carriage return and line feed (CR/LF)
- Supported GEDCOM version/form: 5.5 lineage-linked only
- Supported GEDCOM character sets: ANSEL, ANSI, ASCII and Macintosh only
- Events other than births, deaths and marriages are ignored
- Dates are treated as is (no processing is done on the values read from the data file)
- GEDCOM files up to 4MB can now be imported
