The Public Beta 3.0 of Pocket Genealogist from Northern Hills Software was also recently updated, to versions 3.00A38 and 3.00A39. Pocket Genealogist is a genealogy program for Pocket PC/Windows Mobile devices.
Of note, these versions add better support for the recently released Windows Mobile 5.0.
Changes (Version 3.00A39):
* Make “Object Store” databases the default. (Better support for Windows Mobile 5) Advanced Options screen now allows selecting of “Mounted” as the default if desired.
Changes (Version 3.00A38):
* Zip field on address screen now longer (and state field shorter)
* Fix for Windows Mobile 5 devices and window positioning on tab display and display of buttons beneath child window on 3-gen.
* Fix to FTM import to only mark ONE primary event as preferred and also fixes import termination when there are more than one death event along with a “Cause of Death”.
