When MobileTree 1.1 came out there was mention of a “Lite” version coming out, that would cost $2.99. This was around the time of the price jump for the regular edition of MobileTree from $4.99 to $9.99.
It did come out for $2.99, but as of today the price has been dropped down to free. Judging by the MobileTree website, it’s for today (April 5, 2010) only.
Please keep in mind the note at the top of this article about LDS membership. The difference between this and the regular version is that the regular version of MobileTree provides for more multimedia capabilities (including text). This is more of a browsing app.
