It’s been just over a month since MobileFamilyTree Pro 1.1.4 was released, and earlier today, MobileFamilyTree 1.1.5 was made available through Apple’s App Store by Synium Software.
While MobileFamilyTree Pro is made by the same makers of MacFamilyTree and does sync wirelessly (quite easily I might add) with MacFamilyTree, it is in fact a stand-alone app. It can function (and does) with GEDCOM files generated from any current genealogy app, Mac or Windows.
MobileFamilyTree Pro 1.1.5 has several updates that make it a recommended update to existing MFT users, including improved performance and UI, and according to Synium, the GEDCOM import and export features are “vastly improved”.
Changes in MobileFamilyTree Pro 1.1.5
– Performance improved
– Several user interface improvements
– GEDCOM import and export vastly improved
– Tree chart improved
– Several crash bugs fixed
– iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
– Requires iOS 4.2 or later
Existing users can update wirelessly through the App Store, or through iTunes.
